The film was not as excited or vulgar as the ideas that people might have after reading the title. 1 thing I hate about hype promotion, advertisement or endorsement is it always end up wrongly or indah khabar dari rupa. Yet I still falling for them,what to do yaar Im a hardcore movie buff[ha ha ha ha] Blue is the perfect example for that type of publicity. Big budget film, special appearance in a song by Kylie Minogue, underwater action for the first time in Hindi movies, and lots more been exaggerated to be 1 of the finest, expensive and action packed thriller ever made and produced by Bollywood but at the end it all big talk and no extra impact compare to normal action movies except for the sharks and gorgeous ocean scenery.

The storyline, script and editing was way too slow and elongated for no reason except to fill in the space of time of 2 hours. Normal treasure hunting story which end up with villains who try to take it away from good party, in order to save the heroine or family from the baddies our hero need to think of something that not just bring back their lady love but also will have millions bucks in hand for their future.

The babes; Lara Dutta and Katrina Kaif as usual were wasted, totally! Not 1 scene of theirs is outstanding and all are forgettable. It’s all about showing skins and no substance for their roles at least the guys have style, meatier character and dialogue. Akshay Kumar played the flamboyant richie rich who in quest for his family dignity which been tarnished for a wrong reason in the past, Sanjay Dutt and Zayed Khan as brothers didn’t looking so believable as maybe due to the age gap. Zayed definitely need to do something, he hasn’t improve since his first movie on whether acting skills, emotional and face reaction, body language and the list continues. His career may be launched in 1 of the biggest film, banner and popular director along with 1 of the biggest superstar[Main Hoon Na by Farah Khan, with Shah Rukh Khan] but that doesn’t mean he take this job for granted. Coming from actors’ clan and have it in his blood clearly doesn’t help him all this while, I don’t think jiju-Hrithik Roshan can’t help him with this one.

The only reason I went out and watch this movie is again for superb music by AR Rahman, Chinggy Wiggy sung& performed in a special appearance by Kylie Minogue might be hot pick by everyone but mine is Fiqrana[the video at the end with the ending credit was HOT!].
