Worst case scenario

Worst case scenario is not only applicable when you are trapped in a dead end situation, but it also applies to the time when you started to eat all your words and be friends with someone you despise, someone you never like for God know what reasons, someone who have and live a complete opposite different principles from what you believe in, someone who you thinks portray a plastic or fake image in front of others, someone who doesn’t even care about you and only use you when they need you, someone who (before) you would never suggest to others to be friends with, someone who when be talked about in front you (before) in a good manner you’ll be automatically do faces or give negative comments, someone who you would never thought in 1000 years to be your emergency friends in these kind of time, someone who you don’t even bother to know about them personally or socially, someone who....this...and that...and a lot more but when worst time comes even the worst is better than nothing I guess. It’s a shocking situation to see some people stick/stuck with their so called ‘friends’ for the sake of having ‘friends’ at the end of the day.

Well everyone have the rights to define what a ‘friend’ is to them, for me a friend is someone who dare and care enough to correct me when I’m wrong but still we manage to sustain the same value of respect towards each other and maintain and cherish the sacred relationship for the rest of our life despite our differences. Don’t treat a friend like a liquid paper, where we only need them to correct our wrongs or when we need someone to back us up when we think we’ve screwed up. We may not like certain behaviours of our friends (and vice versa) but with tolerance and sincere confession everything is InsyaAllah will be well at the end of the day because a friendship is not a 1-2 days relationship, it should be for the rest of our life regardless whether we are taking the same path in the future or not. I’ve learnt the hard way I guess in judging who is actually our true friends are, but it’s better to realised it now than never because true friends do stick around forever. Amin.
